Frequently Asked Questions
Do you charge by the page?
We compute your fee by taking the
total number of WORDS, not pages, since everyone's word-per-page
count is different.
What can I expect for my fee?
You can expect us to provide you with
timely, accurate and professional service. We commit to
working with you until you are satisfied.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept money orders and personal
checks, or you may pay via major credit card through WorldPay,
the world’s leader at processing secure online transactions.
All of our rates are in Canadian Dollars.
Can I send some sample pages for a complimentary edit
and mini-critique via the Internet?
Yes, we accept up to 100 words as
an e-mail attachment in MSWord .doc, .rtf format. We will
edit the first 100 words and critique all content submitted
free of charge. The editing will be done using the MSWord
tracking system that shows additions in blue, deletions
in red, and comments in green or yellow.
What is the difference between proofreading and editing?
Proofreading is a final review of
your work to eliminate errors. We will correct spelling,
language usage, and grammar. Editing combines proofreading
with revision to enhance the clarity and efficiency of the
document.
Do you have experience working with ESL students?
Yes. We are very experienced in working
with ESL students in North America, Asia and Europe.
How can I be sure your editors will do a good job?
Our editors are experienced, committed
professionals with academic qualifications that have met
our stringent criteria for online editing. Our chief editor
